Travel Insurance - Excess via Credit Card
Comments
-
Sorry to dig up an oldish thread, but just to point out - every single travel insurance policy I have ever come across (and that's quite a few since I used to work in travel claims) deducts the excess for each insured person.
Many complaints about travel insurance relate to the gap between expectation and policy. Please don't rely on expectation - read the policy. If the cover provided is not suitable, find an alternative. It's harsh but if everybody was conversant with their policy it would make everybody's life much easier.
This does not, of course, apply to the length of time it took to process your claim, so I hope you're going through the complaints procedure for service received, or not as the case may be. Such real and valid complaints need to be made, and one would hope that at the very least improvements may be made.0
