OK, so next week we'll be having:

Monday - Steak sandwiches with fajita mushrooms
Tuesday - Not sure yet
Wednesday - Spanish Omelette (without cheese in an attempt to shift some pre-holiday poundage!)
Thursday - Lamb Kofte with salad
Friday - spicy bacon and chorizo pasta bake
Saturday - chilli con carne with sauteed potatoes
Sunday - Venison pie & mash that I meant to have this week!

Lunches are, as usual, leftovers or sandwiches, and any snacks will be from my lovely biscuit/baking tin. I've a mind to make some mini coconut cakes and some little carrot cakes this week - mmm. Take care everyone and look forward to reading your meal plans :D

Next week will be an odd one I think for me as I am going to 'shop 'completely from my freezer.so
Sunday Lunch at DD's as usual
Monday sausage ,new pots,mixed veg
Tuesday Lamb chops,mash brocolli
Wednesday tuna & sweetcorn salad
Thursday chicken pasta as I have some chicken breasts in the freezer
Friday Fish & chips
Saturday Lamb casserole made from some diced lamb and lamb stock in the freezer
I am trying to 'run down' my freezer so I can defrost it in July so I am hoping to not buy anything except essentials this coming week like bread, milk eggs and some fresh fruit ect

In the Herby household this coming week we'll be eating the meals below. I'm hoping to use up what we have in. Breakfasts will be fruit & yogurt or cereal. Lunches are sandwiches or HM soup, or something on toast. Cutting down on puds for the next six weeks to try and lose some weight before we go away, but I may do a rhubarb crumble with the oat & wholemeal flour topping I batch made a froze a few weeks ago for a treat for DH on Sunday. Served with some vanilla soya yogurt it's very yummy.

Mon[STRIKE]Sweet Chilli Chicken & Noodles[/STRIKE] Curried Pork Patties, Sweet Potato Wedges & Curry Dip (Thanks to Mrs Mc for the recipe).

Tue - Beef Curry, Bulgar Wheat & Cucumber & Onion Relish
Wed – Quorn Bolognese, Wholemeal Pasta & Salad
Thu - Herb Crumbed Cod, Wedges & Garlicky Mushy Peas
Fri
– Chilli (from Freezer) & Bulgar Wheat
Sat – Sweet n Sour Pork Balls, Fried Rice & Prawn Crackers
Sun - Sausage, Mash, Spring Cabbage, Carrots, Red Wine & Onion Gravy

Norman, we're going to Normandy for our hols and I fancy trying some French food before we go away, could you share your Normandy Pork recipe pretty please? TIA!

Afternoon All!

This is my very first post, so Hi everyone! I have been watching from afar for about 6 weeks since I moved in to my new house. Anyway, I have found all this meal planning lark really Interesting so have been meal planning for about the last 4 weeks.
It has amazed me how much money I have saved in such a short space of time just by planning food and using up all the left overs.
My Meal plan for next week is...

Mon - Spaghetti Bolognaise and Garlic Bread
Tues - Tomato Sausage in thick Gravy with onions and Toms and Staffordshire Oatcakes
Wed - Turkey Curry and Rice. HM Raita
Thur - Spaghetti and Meatballs ( made with the leftover mince)
Fri - Spanish Sausage and Noodles (Using up the last of the Sausages)
Sat - Gammon Joint, Mash and Carrots, Cauliflower and Broccoli
Sun - Left over Gammon, Chopped Salad ( Mint sauce, Shredded Lettuce, Diced onion, Sugar and Vinegar) New potatoes and Peas

Puddings are normally jelly topped with angel delight or Ice cream
