.... they're not cheap but you only have to buy once.......
And you can save money by putting dliuted cheapy stuff inside instead of buying branded product.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
I'd love a solution to this. I have a houseful of teenagers who all seem to have their own bottles of shower gel and shampoo and leave the bathroom looking like a swamp.
I'm about to get the 30 year old bathroom redone so I have an opportunity to build some storage in.0 -
We bought this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WENKO-Telescopic-4-Tier-Corner-Shelf-Shower-Silver-/170494736075?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Shelving&hash=item27b24736cb ... have been using it for about a year now and no probs. Ebayer was fine too and quick to deliver. Not sure it would take a huge amount of bottles (our has 3 or 4 per shelf i think at the moment) but it works well for us, easy to install with no screw holes and won't rust (the big selling point!). German made so fairly decent quality.0

I bought some chrome thingies, that attached to the tiles through suction. These worked fine for me. If you're worried about them falling off, then why not just stick them near the shower tray for now until you realise they don't fall off.0

I got in a right pickle just trying to get it to fit. I wasn't tall/strong/able enough to do it.0 -
Well err yes you do need to check the height range!! Our ceilings are about 253cm if memory serves me with the bottom end of the pole on the shower tray 5cm off the ground. The top section is sprung loaded..you change the height by trimming a plastic insert which changes the tension of the spring. I can't see why you'd need to be tall you simply push the top up against the ceiling and slide into place at the bottom. I looked at the one's in Argos but was put off by similar reviews to your own TBH! Still better than mucking up new tiles by drilling holes in them only for the chrome plated accessory to rust! We did try a corner suction type shelf first...it had to go back as the suction caps lined up with the grout lines so wouldn't stick! Only thing is i wouldn't call it "silver".0

I've got the suction pad ones from Focus, been there for well over a year and no sign of rust. Easy to take off and clean as well.0

True! I got a load of Dove handwash when it was a £1
I got those mainly because I can't stand to see loads of bottles round the bathroom..I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

I've recently re-fitted 2 bathrooms and put tiled recesses in the shower. Was simple.
I'm having a 3rd bathroom put in my new extension and will do the same there. Couldn't be going back to nasty racks now.:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5

I wanted the recessed shelves but my walls were all solid. Chap said ran the risk of going through the other side into the hallway.
I had a wetroom area fitted, so did not want to drill through tiles or membrane. I've ended up buying a chrome sit on sort of rack not a basket, that had a flat base and sits on the floor in the corner. Got it from habitat last week.0
