Wanting an iPhone but still got 9 months left on O2

Basically I took a 24 month contract out with O2 for the C905 handset. I thought what could possibly go wrong

Then I dropped it down the loo...

I managed to sell it on ebay for £40 as faulty But now I'm back with my sh*tty old Samsung E270 which I had like 6 years ago.

Do you think there's any chance If I ring O2 they might give me an iPhone or will they tell me to jog on?

Probably, if you agree to extend your contract until like 2024 and you have a good payment history and you sacrafice a goat they would go for it....maybe

Prices of iPhone 'should' be coming down in a few weeks when the new 4G hits, might be an idea to wait and see what happens?

It 'should' be announced at Apple's WWDC next Monday. It could hit the shops any time after then.

It's all speculation at this point, I've seen one post stating it could be as soon as the 18th of this month (Apple always release on a Friday). I would have thought, going on other years, by the middle of next month tops.
