£37.00 for a tiny 28 ml bottle:eek:0 -
Does anyone reckon using just a bronzer alone instead of foundation and blusher is a good way to save money? I sometimes use a bronzer on its own (again its Clinique as it looks more natural than some others).0

When I've got a bit of colour I ditch foundation completely so during the summer I use translucent powder for shine then bronzer on top and nothing else.
I was given a tip recently if you do feel you need some foundation even if you've got a tan then if you have a liquid bronzer rather than a powder, mix a little of that with your foundation. Saves buying a different shade for summer.0 -

Try the old 80s fav Ultraglow for a cross between a foundation and bronzer its powder form but goes on really well and makes skin look smooth also it comes in different colours and types, my fav atm is Loreal Glambronze spray foundation, its very light and does a great job of making me look healthy and blending with my tan (fake)its not cheap though:(Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -

I got a large bottle of the oil and the moisturiser free with a magazine subscription! I've been checking out the magazine threads ever since. I might just treat myself when I've finished my current moisturiser because it is just fab. Whats the toiletries challenge?
It's the 'no buying duplicate etc toiletries' thread here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2503315
Whole bunch of posters working through their stash, trying to work out what we do actually really like and want to keep, and what we can't wait to get rid of! Loads of product reviews on there as people get through them.
And really lovely people and chat

Re: face powder. It's from MeMeMe in Superdrug. I have the translucent as I only want it to keep the shine at bay. They do have coloured ones, but I have not tried them.0 -
Hi all, thanks for all the tips. I have decided that nothing seems as good as my Clinique foundation and I only go through a bottle now and again so its worth the cost. I shall use this, plus the Clinique eyeliner (as it is twist up and doesn't have to be sharpened) and their lipstick which is really nice and then use the No7 blusher and mascara. I will try and find a cheaper cleanser though as I think maybe any good mid priced cleanser will do the same job. In summer I might just mix a bit of foundation with moisturiser or sunscreen and wear a bit more blusher. I feel now that you need to mix and match and use what is best for you whether it be cheap or otherwise, as long as you make cuts elsewhere and don't go overboard then why not?0

I use only clinique products, I have tried cheaper options but nothing works as good as clinique for my skin.
I buy the facial soap, which is about £12 but lasts about 6 months!, so I feel its well worth it, anything else ive used has caused a reaction.
Their facial scrub is the best i've ever come across and lasts ages, I bought a facial scrub for 3.99 and my face looked like it had been burnt!
I also use the Dramatically Different moisturising gel.. £27 a bottle but again lasts months and is fab on my sensitive skin, again tried cheaper and regretted it.
Clinique blemish gel ...fantastic and the only spot gel I have found that actually works well, again this lasts a very long time.
All about eyes ..very good for puffy eyes and does not irratate my skin at all £22 for 15ml! but i bought it on Ebay for £12 including P&P.
i buy most of them on Ebay so do get them quite a bit cheaper.
But I think its worth it not to have red blotchy skin!
Love clinique and whenever i have strayed I soon come back lol, and I think because the products last so long it maybe works out cheaper than buying the cheap brands0 -

I bought my DD a bottle of that for her birthday. Boots have an "exculsive to boots" 200ml size for £35.00 works out much cheaper. I got it online.0
