warm stuff for the night - honestly, you need thermals and a hat as it gets really really cold.

Money belt - best and safest way of keeping your money. Leave other valuables at home. You need it in your sleeping bag at night, I'm afraid.

Wellies and really comfy shoes - you do a lot of walking and standing.

wet wipes as these will be better than toilet paper for you, and after the 1st day you dont want to venture anywhere near the toilets...........

  • I'm 18 coming on 19, been to glastonbury pretty much every year since I was born. This year and last I've been campervanning it but can still give the tent perspective, I just get to keep cleaner :)

    Hygeine

    tooth brush and tooth paste
chewing gum that works also to brush your teeth
    wet wipes
shower gel (use also as shampoo) -some people I know get dry shampoo but i don't see the point, either wash or don't wash for the weekend :P
    toilet paper roll
    hair brush
sun cream, don't forget or if it's sunny (hopefully!) you will burn
    deodrant
medication, you don't want to have diarrhea at glastonbury believe me, nor do you want any discomfort that's toilet related

    day stuff
    ---
    hippie clothes
    cheap camera
you need to decide whether you want to make your own food or eat at glasto. Personally i'd take snacks but take money as eating at glastonbury can be an experience-don't rely on the vans down near the stages though, head up to the green fields and park for sushi, pizza, bhutanese, thai and indian food, plenty of cute little tents that sell vegan and veggie locally produced stuff. Just have cereal bars and stuff... Honeybuns tent usually give away a free cake a year to. The jordans cereal tent is nice. Hare krishna free food is awesome.
    Alcohol or drugs or both
    sunglasses
wellies and trainers, although short walking boots or goretex would do perfectly

    other potential useful things

    hat
    torch
    tent !
    pack away mac
    quick dry clothing

Rather than bin liners which easily split, take some heavy duty garden waste bags and lots of gaffer tape to seal the bags. Then ensure that one set of clothes is well and truely sealed so they'll be in a fit state to be worn on the trip home

staff areas are still lovely after several weeks of us living there and in the hippy/green/craft areas people care and do use the bins!!
