Cheapest Mobile to Mobile
Have both used Payasyougo mobile with Orange as only used for emergencies and odd call.
Now to change of circumstances we are using them quite a lot during day to phone each other.
Can anyone help with a cheaper way, should we go on to a tariff or stick with Payasyougo. Should we change from Orange. We are not bothered about designer phones, modern technology etc, just want cheapest way to phone mobile to mobile between 9 & 5pm.
Many thanks.

Tesco Mobile standard tariff: you can select 3 favourite numbers, to which calls cost 10p/min.
Both parties include each other's number (of course!)
If you set up regular top ups via the tesco mobile website you save a further 10%, bringing the cost down to 9p/min.
you can keep your existing numbers by porting it to Tesco; for this you will need a Port Authorisation Code (PAC) from Orange.
Tesco uses the 02 network, which I find excellent.
If your existing handsets are locked to Orange you can usually unlock them cheaply at a local phone store, or for free via the internet for Nokia hansets: see the many threads on this forum for further info.

https://www.easymobile.com/ , 3p per minute to another easymobile, 1p text, their current offer buy a sim card for £2, get £12 credit, plus if you buy one, then recommend a friend/relative, then you both get another £5.
So thats £17 credit for £2, plus if you go thru Quidco, earn up to £20 cashback for each sim card as well.0 -
Easymobile are good but remember that their introductory easymobile-easymobile 3p call & 1p text rate ends 31/12/06. Their standard rate is 15p to any network anytime & 5p text which isnt bad.
You could get £22 credit on the 1st sim and £17 on 2nd by doing the folowing:
Quote someone's number and get £5 extra credit, so £2 spend, £17 credit,
Then when buying 2nd sim quote the 1st number and get extra £5 credit on BOTH sims
Also as the above post says, go through quidco and get £20 cashback on each sim.0 -
Or you could get a 12 month free line rental deal, with free minutes included, and providing you don't go over your allowance, the deal will cost you nowt.

Just check the boards for guidance.
