O2 iPhone 3GS Contracts

This might be old news, but here goes anyway...

I've had my iPhone since it came out, I was rather excited and opted for a deal, which although expensive, looked ok. Nearly 1 year into a 2 year deal, I'm struggling a bit to pay it, so I rung up O2 as a longstanding customer and asked what we could do.

I had no idea about this, and people probably won't unless they ask, but you can change tariff every month! So I've been moved to a cheaper one, which actually works out even better as I will have unlimited texts as opposed to just 500 I was getting on the more expensive deal.

The fella switched this over no problem, in-fact, they offered it without me asking. So if you're struggling, just switch it to another deal. The man said you can do this as many times as you like throughout the contract, just only once a month.

It might be worth, if you're looking to pay off the contract, switching it to the lowest possible tariff, then paying up.

Oh right ok, I wasn't aware of this at all, otherwise I might have done it ages ago!

Looked at my account and I'm 11 months into a 24 month contract, so maybe it's after 6 months
