Fast4 sign up

I was filling in the Fast4 signup form and they ask for my night phone number as this is needed for the FreeTalk account. There is no mention in the FAQs of having to move from BT to FreeTalk.

Did other users of Fast4 encounter this? I wonder what the advantages/disadvantages of FreeTalk are.

Assuming that you are just going for their dial up access. I have dial up access with fast4 no need to change lines. Try phoning their setup line on 0800 089 0076 mon - fri 9-5.

belongs as you don't give them your BT account number - then they cannot switch your landline over

You don't need the Freetalk deal to sign up with Fast 4!
There is no advantage, just pay the £4.99 per month. Use the Pre-Select Carriers as outlined in Martin's Money Tips.
