Nokia Mobile Phones
Hi All,
My old Nokia mobile phone has all but given up so evidently it is time for a replacement. I have always used Nokia as I find them very user friendly, what are the latest versions of this mobile that MSE's would recommend and what prices can I expect to be paying?
Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for contract, PAYG or SIM free?
If you just wnat a basic phone for calls and texts the Nokia 6303 is pretty decent.
You can get them on PAYG for £60 at Tesco as an example. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
I currently use PAYG and this is the type contract that I would like to keep, I am not looking for something too basic or too high tech, if that makes any sense?0

Nokia 5230. I recommend this phone to everyone who asks, I love it. Around £70 + £10 top up at Carphone Warehouse.

Depends what you want.
Most phones nowadays are very internet centred, however the best deals on tariffs with internet are not payg. T-mobile have a super deal on the Nokia 5800 on £10 tariff over 24 months, but you can get £80 quidco cashback which takes the total cost to £160 or 6.67 a month, for 100 texts and 100 minutes of calls plus free internet (or another bolt on). If you want to use an internet enabled phone then at the moment this is unbeatable. As I said £160 total for two years (as long as you get your quidco cashback and quidco has a £5 annual fee, topcashback and others don't but don't offer £80 cashback).
If you are going for a non-internet phone then a payg deal may be better on a simpler phone. Carphone warehouse online will do a £5 cashback with topcashback for payg, with the Nokia 1661 starting from £7.95 when purchased with £10 topup. A good basic phone.
The real question is whether or not to internet.
The Nokia 5800 has wifi and gps, which gives it free sat nav for life, but then means that if you are used to all Nokia's which go for days without charging forget it!0
