Police Caution - Tell employer??
Comments
-
He will almost certainly loose his job if you do and will be unable to get another one that needs a CRB check.
:T:beer:
Exactly!
He would lose his job and likley never ever be able to get another job ever again as he has a criminal record!
The crb has already been done, the police dont contact employers to tell them that staff got a caution or anything like that,
so he will be fine.0 -
So don't say anything, and if it ever does come up, explain the circumstances of the caution in a positive manner (e.g tried to help someone that was being attacked)?0
-
Yes lying is always a goood idea.
Maybe the OP wants to share the details of her couragous OH and his heroic act....0 -

This really is dreadful advice. Wrong on so many levels, but for a start try googling Home Office Circular 6, 2006 (Notifiable Occupations Scheme). And then hope that the OP's OH is not foolish enough to follow the advice of people who really don't know what they're talking about, as it's the surest way to ensure he will lose his job.0 -
When the options are: Say nothing and hope employer never finds out or tell the employer, lose your job and have no prospect of getting another in that field can anyone blame someone for keeping quiet?Bought, not Brought0

Only if they are very foolish and badly informed. The simple fact of having a caution for common assault does not mean there is no prospect of working with vulnerable groups. However, lying about it, or trying to conceal it, is a sure-fire way to rule yourself out of working in that field once the deception is uncovered (and it would only be a matter of time).0 -

Yes I guessed he(not they) will post under a lot of different names; all posts designed to be provocative - scrounger on the dole and well heeled etc.0
