That's happened to me before too.
I sent ebay a copy of my Paypal receipt that I recieved when I purchased the goods.
But, the seller still won due to ebay's stupid bureaucracy so I sent the receipt again and the strike was reserved.
In addition, you should file an unperforming seller report against this charlatan.
    Good Luck.

There is a loophole that enables the seller to do an NPB, however like me4bargains says, appeal it and if necessary send a copy of your original payment receipt to ebay.

    thanks for your advice.
a few days ago i decided to order some more number plates from another seller, had a quick check over their feedback and looked all ok, so i purchased from them.

now after looking in my won items i realised that the listings looked quite similar so i decided to investigate a bit further.

it looks like the second set of plates that i ordered could be from the same person,or friend as there also seems to be a bit of shill bidding going on.

now a week later and the second set of plates have not arrived yet, hmmm.

all sellers live in the same area and i am sure that in various sellers auctions it has vehcles in the same street in the background.

if anyone wants me to give them the usernames to investigate please contact me.

We had the same problem. Hubby bought a laptop but had some probs with it, seller woldnt communicate to solve it so we launched paypal dispute for item significantly not as described and while the dispute was open he launched a npb against hubby which he won!! We reolved the issues and closed the payapl dispute but he didnt close the npb dispute so hubby got a strike against him. We sent Ebay the paypal receipt etc but never heard anything back?!!!!

Just leave feedback for them that contains a load of swear words, ebay then withdraw the negative feedback from both parties.

I'm sorry but I keep seeing this suggested and it concerns me. When offensive feedback is left that feedback is subject to removal, there is no suggestion at all that the other persons feedback will also be removed, after all why should it be if it was not offensive? Why risk your only chance of leaving feedback?

Also, the person leaving offensive feedback will have a warning put on their account, is it worth it?

is it worth filing a non perfoming seller claim also?

Have you not already done an item not received? Surely this will equate to the same as non performing seller?

Just appeal the NPB and see what happens - after all you paid (send them the receipt), you started a chargeback (send documentation and refer them to it that you have received), and you received the refund (again refer them to these facts). If after all this they still find in the favour of the seller appeal again.

As for the more recent plates that you bid on and never appeared - when did you win them - have you given them chance to appear? If so contact the seller again then start another item not received!

How long have these suspected similar sellers been ebay members? Are they quite new? Whats their feedback like?

Same thing happened to my mum, which is completely stupid, because how are they able to file a NPB when there was already confirmation of payment via paypal?

It turns out, the buyer wanted his fees refunded! Cheek!
