Stealing from your children

I wonder if he ever went to school the morning after he had to flee his home with his mother after violence from his father, or if he dragged himself in each day despite having bad parents who never taught him the value of education, helped him with his homework or even woke him up and gave him breakfast.
What are you talking about? This has nothing to do with the issue at hand.
Trust me when I tell you that today many children woke up across the world wishing they had even 1% of the advantages the majority of children in the UK have.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
You will notice Macaque, that the bulls on here are mostly infertile and thus don't care about future generations.
Intresting thought, but I don't think "one handed typing" can produce children either.;):)
(PS I am classed as a bull and happily a parent, but I would be interested on your study on the relation of perceived house price inflation and fertility.0 -
all this future generation rubbish and nonsense... and typical soundbite nonsense that makes these 'bears' on this forum look stupid. You will notice Macaque, that the bulls on here are mostly infertile and thus don't care about future generations.
i hope you don't drive a car because that fuel your buying at the petrol station is running out... with it running out you're making it more and more expensive for your children to buy in the future... :eek:0 -

I did state that he may not have to wait until we die.
Where did I say they had to wait until they were 60+?
It's quite an assumption you are making.
I have property and intend that that property will be available for them to use while going to University if that is what they choose.
Of course they will be free to follow whatever path the desire and I'll back them up as best I can.
What parent does not want to provide the best for their children.
Indeed, we see that each generation is provided for better than the previous one.
Maybe in general, this is the problem. Not enough people are installed with the ethics to go out and achieve personally. they expect it to be easy for them.PasturesNew wrote: »You must live in a cheap area then. Most don't.
No. I would say my UK home is in an area that is very close to the UK average. Current average is £169,607.
I agree that some areas are very expensive but you cannot expect this to be the norm or the majority.
I know people who have moved to London, made a success, increased their earning potential etc.
I also know people who moved to London, found it too expensive to live and had to move out to a different area.
The point is that the areas self regulate themselves in terms of house prices, else the properties would not be sold at the levels they arePasturesNew wrote: »I would refer you to #3 above.
It's not bullocks, it's reality.
If you wish to put your fingers in your ears and not believe it, then it for me is an indicator of why you may not have been as successful as you could have been.PasturesNew wrote: »It must be nice in La La Land .... he probably needs 100% attendance as he's actually the school bully, so can't have a day off or the other gang might move in on his marks.
It's not La La land, it's reality.
The boy certainly did not sound like a bully, that said if he was, what bully has a 100% school attendance, even when sick.
It's amazing how people try to turn somthing positive into a negative.
This kid is being praised for his attendance at school and now he's branded a bully of !!!!! style to ensure he keeps his piece of turf.
You couldn't make it up. Well of course you have.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

:rotfl::rotfl: really? That just proves how little you know. What I find amusing is the general bull attitude that anyone who moans about house prices does so because they can't afford one. Absolute nonsense, many just recognised an overpriced asset when they see one.when we ALL know that the primary reason is either you don't earn enough, or you're tight.
I'm providing for my kids, shame you lot can't really, what an evil bunch.
Just for the record, we have a combined income quickly approaching 6 figures, and that's with the wife working part time, so no need to worry about me. We'll be jumping onto the ladder at rung 3. Oh, and I won't have to MEW to provide for my children.0 -

The best one I saw was a small campbodian girl who instead of begging, used her charm.
She must have been about 3 or 4 maximum and with a big smile asked me where I was from.
Wwhen I replied Scotland she said a few facts about Scotland like the capital is Edinburgh.
This is a girl who has been dealt a harsh hand but is getting on with it and using some information and ability to maximise her situation.
Tell me, how many 3 or 4 year olds know the capitol of Campbodia?
without searching, how many on here know the capitol of Campbodia.
This girl, instead of begging of whining like so many others adapted her situation to improve herself and her family.
Please don't come back about how her family is using her (albeit that it may have been true). It's a story about how people can use the hand dealt to a better position than what others do.:wall:

Include me in the study.
Bullish on property in the long term, a parent and a BTL LL.
It would be interesting to know if DaddyBear is a parent or not.:wall:

I recall a little girl in Mumbai who couldn't walk (probably polio) begging on the street. The smile she gave me when I gave her some money still brings a tear to this old cynics eye, as I type.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
