Blackberry set up issues
Hi
I have an O2 blackberry account and have bought a new 02 blackberry off ebay. I have tried to register my email address on the new blackberry but am having problems. It is telling me that it cannot create an account as one already exists for this device, please login or contact 02.
I have found the pin and imei number by going to options and then status. However this doesn't help.
Does anyone know what I can do to get my email account set up please?

Sounds like the last owner registered the pin, until they release it you can't use it.
You need to contract the seller and get them to release it, there's no other way to do it.0 -
To release it, do you mean they just need to tell me what the pin is?0

No, they have to go online to release it the same way you're going online to set it up.
Once the acc's set up, there's an option to release the pin. The BB is currently linked to their email acc.0
