Dumb question I know but....................

flippin eck. I tried what the last two posts suggested and it didn't work. I tried again this am, again nothing.I've just put the extension cable into the three way downstairs with no phones down there connected, up here I have the microfiltre and a phone, hey presto. Does that mean anything I wonder. I won't be able to use the comp till Mon PM as it's in my daughters room and she is due home within the hour till mon/midday. that for your help, please keep watching.

Well that is how it should be, so it should work like that. Any additional phones that you connect need to be filtered. You may have some duff filters.

I still don't see how changing your ISP has anything to do with this problem, unless you have been given duff filters.
