Only just realised had to sign up seperately for the forums - but been a newsletter reader for a long time and a fan of the site - so not really a noob. well, maybe a bit.
Anyways, Just got myself a Blackberry Storm 9500 - my first touch screen phone. I'm not a big fan of getting the newest fanciest phone but being a techie it was about time i upgraded from my falling apart slide Samsung thing.
I'm currently on 02 PAYG which has always served me well BUT it turns out i can use any blackberry phone on this tarriff. I have to get a simplicity SIM. I'm not adverse to getting a contract BUT i'm not really that bothered about the email bit, i was just so happened to be offered this phone so i thought i'd take it and wanted to use it to it's full potential.
With all that in mind 1) as i'm not that bothered about the email bit, shall i just get rid and get a different touch screen phone? 2) if i do keep it, does anyone else have it PAYG with another provider and what is a good deal ?
Any info appreciated. i feel i should know this stuff with my line of work.... the shame. lol

Do what I have done. I used to be on a 600 mins 500 texts and Blackberry unlimited at £35pm.
I've now changed to a Simplicity 1 month rolling contract 300 mins and unlimited texts with free Blackberry ad on for £15pm. This way I'm not tied into a contract. Not sure how long the free Blackberry unlimited is on offer for though.0 -
Thanks Mechanic, thats a pretty good little deal and has made me think twice about immediately selling it on!!
if i can get something similar...0
