Remove blue pop ups.

I have the google toolbar with pop ups blocked.

I have sophos anti virus.

I have been getting these blue pop ups on the middle of my screen.the ones that advertise scar removal,or tell me my computer is infected and various women offering certain services.

They come headed Messenger Service.

Could anyone advise me how I can get rid of these.

Download both of these and run them. They should find the malware that's causing this. Unfortunately these days just having anti virus and a pop up stopper is not enough protection for surfing the net.

The two programs above will look for any spyware on your system. This is most likely what's causing the pop ups. You should really have a firewall installed as well. Get a decent free one here .

If it's messenger service pop-ups, this will stop it in a few seconds (no instal required)
