O2 - Free £5 for every England goal, question

Does anybody know if you need a brand new pay&go sim to enter this or can you just use the sim you already have?

I think it's a great offer, i'm gutted i'm on pay monthly, a lot of my family are on pay & go though so they'll be signing up to it.

The short answer you need a new sim card.Found this info which confirms the details.

order and register one of their free promotional Pay & Go SIM cards, and they’ll pay a fiver for every goal England score during the World Cup. The better news is that O2 are paying cash – the only criteria is that you top up £15 once you receive the promotional SIM card. If you’re not a fan of Eng-ger-land, O2 are also offering to pay a fiver for every goal the national team concedes.
