I am so sad .I love my weetabix and in my bowl came out a seed like a raisin that is hard more stonelike.I chipped a bit of my tooth.I wrote to customer care this morning through the web and they asked me to post it to them.It was a fruit and nut minis pack.

This reminds me of the story about the guy who, as we've all done at some time or other, found a burnt cornflake in his bowl at breakfast.
Carefully wrapping it in a matchbox, he wrote a complaint to Kellogs expecting some form of compensation.
They sent a letter of apology and a (single) replacement cornflake - in the same matchbox!Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -

Do you have to send the hard bit, or your piece of tooth? Or both?Experience is the toughest teacher because she gives the test first then the lesson

The tooth was chipped a bit and i spat it out with the food.I only realised this when i was eating a fruit and some particles were getting stuck. They have asked me to send in the stone. To me it looks like the seed of somesort.I dunno what to make out of it only thing i am sad that it is my favourite so..............feel sad i will have to go without it.Also more torture now ahead for me at the dentists.I absolutely hate going to one.0

I would send it recorded delivery - if they are going to compensate you in anyway then that should include the postage fee so a couple of pounds extra is worth it to ensure they get it safely! I've yet to meet anyone that likes dental treatment:eek: so you have my sympathy. When you write to weetabix make it cleaer to them that you will have to undergo treatment, how distressing the whole thing has been and how its scarred you mentally (in that you are now reluctant to eat it after breaking a tooth and have lost confidence in the weetabix brand after all these years etc etc)
Good luck & hope the dentist is kind to you.Experience is the toughest teacher because she gives the test first then the lesson

Do you think i should do this all right away or wait and do it on monday as its a long weekend off?0

If you need and can get a dental appointment in the next few days i would be tempted to wait until after that, then you can tell weetabix the full extent of the damage, costs etc (keep a receipt!)
If you have to wait for the appointment, then i'd send it sooner rather than later, (updating them with the outcome of the dentist visit if necessary) otherwise they might think its not that important if you didnt do it immediately.Experience is the toughest teacher because she gives the test first then the lesson
