    Today:

    Pro's
Had breakfast at home and bought a vending machine coffee, rather than buying a coffee and breakfast from Pret. Saving £3.85 - £0.20 = £3.65.

Going to Halifax at lunch to review and cancel my building contents insurace, then I'll be taking out the exact same insurance with churchill. Saving £78 a month :)

24 Items to be listed on Ebay this evening. (Balance from selling junk since start of may £324.50)

    Con's
Forgot my sandwiches so will probably cancel out the brekfast by havingto buy lunch, although I'm finishing at 3pm today so I may try and hold out until I get home, therefore saving another £5.

    Morning all!

Checked online banking, but none the wiser as it has still not updated itself since Friday - so I don't know whether I need to move money around to avoid being OD or not - If I were cynical I would think that this is to maximise the chance of incurring charges

Hmm, I notice that too, when I logged on this morning to one of my accounts. grrr. Luckily, I'm not in OD territory, but still!!!
:DAiming to be debt-free June 2011 at the latest!! :D

Washing out on airers - pants day here today
Dishes washed and dried by hand
    Daily scratch card - 10p
Freezer tea - pasta bolognaise - yummy
    Checked online banking
Ironing load 1 done (does that count as ms; suppose it does if not paying someone else to do it)
. Just need to find the motivation to get 2nd load done.

A late post from me today because I had to run DS3 into work as his car has a flat bettery. It's a 16 mile round trip that I could have done without as I still need to go into town this afternoon.

    So far I have:
    • run dishwasher overnight on Economy 7
    • run washing machine overnight on Economy 7 and hung on airer as it's raining here
    • used discount card when buying chicken food and egg boxes (saved 42p - but it's the little things.....)
    • sold half a dozen eggs to DD's work colleague :j
    • checked banking
    • done two surveys
    I will also:
    • go to THIRD interview for the job I don't want - I think this "meeting" will be an offer, but do I take it???
    • DH to transfer some money into my account to clear my overdraft :D
    • re-book the bike MOT within 10 days of failure to get cheap/free re-test
    • go to HB office with ESA and JSA letters as we haven't let them know our income has drastically reduced! Silly really, as it means we've had the wrong HB for about 8 weeks :o
    • visit DS2's neighbour tonight for a sewing job
    • meals from stores/meal plan
Oh I think that's enough for a wet, soggy day. I just have to remember the rain is good for the allotment!

    - checked washing to see if dry (& put away if it is)
    - plan where to go camping in a couple of weeks
    - go to free rugby game with my mum
    - have freezer food for dinner
    - water plants on windowsill
    - clear out all junk (recepits, paper etc) from handbag

Just popped into town to post the ebay empire! Postage cost £8 altogether but I think I charged a bit more than that so may be a few more pennies up than I thought. I've listed another 4 items this morning and one has bids already - skincare stuff seems to go well.
Done a survey and got screened out - boo!

Popped into Pound shop for padded envelopes and got 6 for £1 and a bargain McCleans Whitening toothpaste pump for £1 - we are running short so worth buying when I saw it. Also got 4 cans of Diet Pepsi for £1 in Farmfoods - they're 73p each in the Spar round the corner. I refuse to give up all sins so have to shop around for them.
No other spends and parked in free carpark (bit further to walk in the rain but saved 50p).

Hope everyone has a good if soggy day.
