I'm now on my second day without buying toast and lunch, it feels so good!!

Money I'm saving will help go towards paying for my dentist appointment next week especially as one of my teeth broke this morning :( I'm very glad I found an NHS dentist :p

Good work on the toast and lunches, Hamwic! That's rotten about the broken tooth :( - hope you get it sorted soon.

I know we're halfway through the month but can I join please?

I had my first HM lunch today of this month and want to try to continue everyday until the end of this month and then go from there.

I'm also going to cut out the toast I normally have each morning when I worked out that in a 4 week month it costs me £12

So, I'm aiming to go toast free this month too!

Hi sorry about the delay, I've added you to the list #19 - Hamwic. Good luck

Hi, hope your all okay and your challenges have been going well, just a couple of days left now, I've been having pasta, sandwiches and rice for my lunches from home, though I set my self to buy 2 lunches I ended up buying 3 and another day I had to go into tesco and buy bread, cheese and pickle which I put down into my shopping instead of a bought lunch.

I think it's been harder this month with all the nice weather, having your mind on other stuff like enjoying the good weather! I enjoy going for a walk around where I work, there's a really good canal to walk along.

Have bought two lunches this month but I'm happy with things :) it's become habit now to have something ready for my lunch the night before so it's much easier and is saving me a fortune :)

I've been on holiday but am now back and sticking to my promise of no bought lunches for June.

Although I've been put on a no wheat, no dairy diet for 2 weeks which is making things a lot harder, meal wise, but its actually easier to bring from home as there isn't anything suitable in the shops to buy ready made!

I have to say I didn't do too badly, though could have done better.

Overall I bought lunch at work on 7 days out of 22 this month (including today), which was 4 over my target (once that rogue breakfast had been taken into account!). A work lunch costs me approximately £2.50, so I managed to not spend approximately £37.50 on work lunches for June :)

Hopefully do just as well, if not better, in July :D

Well I only bought one lunch this month - think my challenge was no more than two bought lunches.
    Roll on July!!
