This to me seems the best way for me to buy a digital TV - on monthly installments over a year, although the general gist seems to be that you can just pay installments as and when until a year has passed, that's when you start getting charged interest...
Usually you seem to need a store card, but not every time?
Do you need to have a credit card?
Anyone know which stores etc will let you buy TV's like this? Think the Sony Shop is one...

It's fine if it's interest free, but if you go a single day over the interest free period then you are usually locked into paying a punishing rate of interest. If you pay the full balance off before that date then yes it's a good deal, as you have had a year's interest free loan. Otherwise it's much cheaper to get a personal loan.No free lunch, and no free laptop
