Hi peeps, haven't been on in a while but have a few use ups to report.
John Freida Shine Release shampoo & conditioner
WIBA: No, they weren't anything special and had I not bought them on the tesco glitch i'd have been gutted at wasting so much money on them. They left my hair quite dry with no shine and I was so disappointed as the John Freida liquid shine ones I was using before made my hair look great.
BS strawberry shower gel
WIBA: Hmmm not sure tbh as I loved the scent and it made my skin feel great but it didn't really last very long as I had to use quite a lot each time to make it lather up enough. Because of this it would have to be riddiculously reduced to make me justify buying it again. Such a shame as it really smelt yum:(
Tesco Vitamin E facial wipes
WIBA: Definitely!!!!! I've raved about them on here before but I just love these, although I've noticed my local Tesco have now put the price up from 28p to 48p:mad:
Dove green tea roll on deodorant
WIBA:No, I hated this, felt really messy when applied, took ages to dry and never left you with that 'clean' feeling that I like my deodorants to have. Technically though this wasn't a use up as I got so fed up with it I chucked it in the bin:o
I'm now using my BS aloe deodorant which I love and I also succumbed and bought two of the new BS aluminium free deodorants (£5 spend) so I'll report back with how I get on with those.
I also bought a mini batsiste tropical dry shampoo in the local chemist for £1. My Lee Stafford one had run out so I thought I would buy this in the meantine until I saw a good offer on the LS one. Not tried it yet but looking forward to seeing how it compares.
And finally I placed a BS order in the sale:eek: thinking I could use some for presents and some for myself:o but they were out of stock of some of my order and so I put my sensible head on and returned the rest. I never would have done that before so I felt quite proud:D:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
Have another UU from last week I forgot to mention!
Garnier Mineral Deodorant Extracare WIBA Yeah I would. I actually bought another one today (was on offer at Mr. S)! It's pretty good, nice that it's paraben-free and cheap. The extracare one has a baby powder type scent and works pretty well. I sometimes put on my pit rock crystal deodorant and top up if I need it with the Garnier.March win: Fair Squared organic spa skincare set

UU: sample of Space NK Champaca perfume. I wouldn't buy it because it didn't suit me, although there is nothing wrong with it, its just for a cooler, more sophisticated woman than me. it did smell better in the warm weather on me though, just still not ''me''.0

Few UUs to report:
Eve Lom Moisturiser. WIBA? Nah, it's almost too thick, IYKWIM? Have other favourites.
Marks and Spencers sicialian lemon and bergamot shower gel. WIBA? It's lovely and light and smells lovely too, but I have other favourites.
Dermalogica MultiVitamin Power Firm (maybe not quite right, but it's along those lines anyway). WIBA? No, got this as part of a kit anyway. It's too similar to the No7 one, with no discernable difference to justify the extra ££s.
Vaseline Intensive Care deodorant. WIBA? No. I do love this, but I found another favourite now (mitchum). I'm alternating between the two.
Ghost Anticipation. WIBA? Yes, I love this!
Hugo Boss for women. WIBA? Maybe.
Found a 'witch' cleanser that I'd gotten from Tesco for 30p and a few other toothbrushes and flosses/etc (5p for two packs). I'd forgotten about them:rotfl:

Once again I have very little to report in the way of UUs.
So instead I will observe that it takes a heck of a long time to use up any gel/soap/lotion etc, so why the hell did I need to buy some every other week?? LOL
I've started on another soap this evening - how did I choose it - I smelt them all and chose the nastiest (Lush lemon man)
Also used the Cowshed freebie I picked up free with Marie Claire. I can already say WIBA not a chance, I've had washing up liquid that smelt stronger, so imho its a rip off at full price. I had the ginger one, maybe others are better?
Oh, and final insult was that I painted nails in 'stormy grey' by YSL Sat morning (which i previously had saved for 'best' for a year:rotfl:), then sunbathed Sat afternoon and they went blotchy and melted.......
Thanks and hope you all had good weekend :j2011
Still trying to reduce the toiletries mountain, now a hill........ :j

Less shoes less shoes less shoes etc0 -
UU: a sample tube of Clarins Multi-Active Day cream. WIBA? No - nice soothing thick cream, but nothing special, and not worth the £30+ pounds to buy.
Also unexpectedly finished my large tub of baby-wipes (Jeyes, bottle of 100) that was about 2 years old - hardly ever used, but reached for one on Saturday to get some dirt from the garden off my legs, and it was the last one! WIBA? No, the tub is too big, I think I've got some of those small packs of wet wipes Superdrug sell for 50p/£1 lying about somewhere - much handier and more compact so I'll probably stick with them.0 -
