one of the new Body Shop deoderants without aluminium in as they are on special offer at £2.50 and the aluminium is something I have been trying to avoid. The one I got smells of citrus fruits and this pleaseth me as it's not the type of scent I've really noticed on deoderants, but I like it! (If it's any good, I may stock up as it will be £6.00 and you get very hot where I work).
    Eek!
I was told the normal price would be £4!
Think I may need to pop in and double check that tomorrow - £6 for a deodorant is extortionate!

not very well:(strange sort of half cold with 1 sinus blocked then running ,cough and sore throat:(:(:(

Hi Rosemary I've had the same thing, its rotten isn't it! I do hope that you are starting to feel better. I think mine is slowly getting better and I've had it since last Sunday. Good idea about the steam room - did it help? If it did, I might try that myself.

I've had quite a productive week UU wise:

Avon Shower Gel - Senses Tropics - WIBA? Possibly - it was fruity and refreshing, nice for the summer, and didn't dry my skin out.

Avon Shower Gel - Mango Smoothie - have decanted that into an empty handwash bottle, as I was getting fed up with it in the shower. I like the Body Shop Mango shower gel better. Probably wouldn't buy again.

Body Shop Camomile Eye Make-up Remover - WIBA? Definately, I really like this. It was gentle and didn't sting, and did a good job of getting mascara off. I have a cheapy Boots Cucumber eye-make remover to move on to next, then I'll have to start buying as that's my last one :T

Boots Mediterranean Body Lotion - Grape, Olive & Nectarine - WIBA? Possibly, it was nice and light, and had a fresh fragrance, and absorbed into the skin easily. Not sure they do that range any more though? It was a 50ml size that came in a gift set. I am enjoying using up small sizes as they get used up quickly - I like variety!

I've also used up a mouthwash and a hairspray, both of which I just buy as I need now, don't have a stash of those :T

I have put together a mini hamper of goodies out of my stash as a present for a friend - Avon SSS (pink variety) shower gel, body lotion, spray oil, Boots Soap (passionflower I think), hand cream and pink toiletry bag. I hope she'll like it - its more than I would usually have spent on her but hasn't really cost me anything as its out of my stash (if you know what I'm getting at).

I've also given a couple of Boots Facial Sunscreens to a colleague at work, as she is going on holiday soon. I bought them last year (I think with either a glitch at Boots or with the No7 vouchers) and they are still sealed so hopefully they will be ok.

So I feel like I've made some real headway this week! :)

Sorry for the long post - have a lovely Saturday everyone and enjoy the sunshine!
    Love from Candice x

Yesterday I used up Elle Macpherson Bare Gentle Travel Wipes. It was a packet of 10 wipes from the Elle Macpherson big toiletry bag which I had as a present a couple of Xmases back. I kept them in my handbag. WIBA? Yes, they were lush, thick cloths with a lovely smell. Not sure that you can buy these separately though and if you can, I'd imagine they'd be expensive. So will move on to Boots bog standard Handy Wipes.

Lostinrates have you tried the Tea Tree one? It has a nice clean smell. Once I've used up my stash of other shower gels I think I'll be going back to this one.

I haven't...but I've used others. The reason I'm often tempted away is, tbh, shallow: the packaging is a bit naff, and while I love the products they don't feel truly ''luxurious'' but rather they feel good and healthy and clean. I suppose a good simile would be they are like a wonderful plate of steamed veg or salad and beautifully cooked fresh fish...but sometimes you just want cake!

I will be trying to find somewere to buy Jason stuff from when we move though, for bath products etc. Although I think I'll also be using some good old fashion bars of soap for me mid-week.

I have started making some of my own creams and it so easy and so cheap in comparison. I have made lots of nice organic stuff. Its a bit like cooking and takes a bit of time. Maybe couple of hours

I'm hoping to do this with the beeswax my husband extracts from his hives.

Another UU to report. I finished Superdrugs vitamin E cleanser this week. I thought this was really good and it didn't dry up my face as some cleansers do and it's cheap. Around £2.50 I think so will probably use again. Now using clarins pure melt cleansing gel and its gorgeous to use but more expensive than the superdrug one.

Hope you are all having a lovely day in the sunshine.

Finished previously mentioned face wash, a shampoo (now using last bottle), another body spray, a tube of toothpaste, a tube of Boots aromatherapy hand cream, which I would definitely buy again, as it smells lovely and made my hands very soft, and a pack of face wipes.

Still not bought anything else, but did get a free sample bottle of Dove Visible Effects body lotion through the post earlier in the week, smells lovely and made my skin very soft, so might have to buy some more of it when I’ve cleared my stash.

    Two UU to report!

Green People Day Solution SPF 15 WIBA Yes it was very nice, although reading up on SPF in moisturisers has made me think maybe I should use only a sunscreen instead of a moisturiser. My face was lovely and spot free and nicely, lightly moisturised and matte.

Green People OY! Foaming Anti-bac face wash WIBA Yes. It is quite expensive, as I have normally bought Lush cleansers. It lasted about 2.5 months which was a bit quick for my taste, and it never leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, but worked very well. Didn't seem to do the trick in the hot weather we've been having lately as I've had more breakouts.

I've since moved on to Dr Bronner's Tea Tree Castille liquid soap to use on my face. I'm a huge fan of the Peppermint one, but I haven't used in years and was really happy to have it back in my life. So far so good and it is cleaning my face better imo in the super hot weather. It's very susdy and I forgot just how little goes a very long way, one aspect that made me want to buy it and not the OY! cleanser again.

Managed to finish my pot of night cream last night. This is the only night cream I've managed to finish off completely so well chuffed.

Don't tend to stock pile on moisturisers although do have a LE superskin left in my stock which will be my night cream after I finish the new one I've just taken out. Need to get some more day cream but not just yet :A
