Only one purchase since last post so have been quite good, I had some £1 mocs for the iso range of toothpaste, mcleans, aquafresh and & sensodyne I picked up when there was a demonstration last week in Manchester Arndale. Best price to buy the mcleans one was Sainsburys @ £2.16 so £1.16 to pay. Only bought 1 even though I had 4 mocs, decided I will let the kids try before buying more am trying to get out of the stockpile mode unless its something I really like and is really cheap.
On reading about the footfile it reminded me of my best nail file ever which I got from Tesco about 3 years ago, its one of the glass type ones and I use it several times a week and its still going strong. It was not cheap, I think it was about £7.95 but this was in the old H&B days and I probably paid pennies for it at the time. I have tried many other glass nail files since but none have been anywhere near as good, boujois, aldi, wilkinsons are the ones I would not buy again. So a definiate WBA for the Tesco one if I could get it on offer again.0 -
Finished a No 7 Intense Volume GWP mascara - very nice, would use it again, and will, since I must have several more GWP ones. Am relplacing it with a Lash Extensions No 7 GWP - I think they've axed this anyway, so it won't matter much what it is like! Had to buy some cotton buds yesterday, and got one Cowshed magazine!0

I had the tesco one too, but it shattered in my hand bag(I think I must have leant on it) It was excellent. I have some cheaper but cheerful coloured glass ones now (a couple knocking about.) I can't imagine going back to emery boards: these are so much better.

No major use ups the last two weeks, I am working thru all the samples and putting them into one big dispenser bottle. Also being a bit 'squirt from here, gloopy blob from there' rather than using just one thing.
UU - PnP (notice a trend anyone?) shower cream small tube WIBA - maybe if on offer, lovely and creamy but smell was a bit minging.
UU - BS Peppermint foot rescue. DH walked around island coastline yesterday, managed 39miles b4 knee packed up, so slathered the rest of this on his feet last night. WIBA Yes when I need some, lovely thick cream. Also burnt back on neck and legs, so getting thru plenty of body lotion on him!
Worked my way thru the hotel freebies Marriot provide, all have lemongrass in and are awful - would not even bother taking again!
Sneaky use up - filled DH's Radox bath bottle with lavender bath foam, works well with the clary sage!
Take it some of you live in Poole near the Lush factory there? Used to drive by it most days - I loved that shop near the quay!2011
Still trying to reduce the toiletries mountain, now a hill........ :j

Have bought another magazine today, the Woman and Home one with free Dove Pro Age serum. I consider this to be massive :money:cos I did think it was a facial serum and justified buying it to try as my skin is feeling really dry at the moment however discovered it is a neck and chest serum which is even better as I am coming to the end of my Elemis Neck and Bust Cream and was thinking of repurchasing it - I am coming to the end of a 15ml tube and have another of these in my stockpile (which I would prefer to save for my hols) so by buying this mag I have saved myself about £40.+.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

tried my Nair hair remover from Bzzz,WNBA sorry bzzz there is still the awful chemical smell and sitting around with stuff on your legs with hardly any clothes on!!!give me waxing /shaving any day.
It worked quite well tho if you like creams/gels and costs £5 a tube which is cheaper than waxing(but no idea how long it lasts)
loads of little shower gels in my L'occitainne order to use now, will have to remember to take to the pool.:)0 -

mineallmine wrote: »Well done to you on listing all these lovely products, you've got some gorgeous stuff there. If I was you I would have a mammoth pamper session. Dig out a towelling robe, some nice clean towels, make sure plenty of hot water and lay out all the products you're going to use. Maybe target using up the sachets to get a real feel good boast of used up stuff. So for instance:
shower gel or bubble bath
shampoo (I use unloved shampoos to wash my make up brushes)
conditioner - a real treatment type one
face scrub, dont forget your neck, then you'll need a flannel
face mask
then relax, relax, relax.
then body cream all other, put on some fab face and eye cream
then take a snooze. when you wake, slather on some more cream in the drier areas like elbows, knees, shins, feet. Then another sleep. You'll be exhausted from all that pampering.

Mine was a nail file, not foot file. It is a clear glass nail file about 6" long and about 1/2" wide that you would normally find with the nail accessories/make up accessories, can't find it online, it was around £7.98 when I got mine but it has outlasted every other nail file I have had in the past 3 years. HTH
When looking on mysupermarket to see if I could find it I noticed this scholl foot one on offer @ £1 - has anyone tried this and can either recommend or not?0
