The Ebay item sold for £36 for the shelf alone! The books in mine are in beautiful condition. I don't think that they have been used very much as they dont 'naturally fall open' at any particular page.

It's like treasure hunting ,isn't it?

I've noticed that it's been on sale since 2nd April... so I guess it's really over priced.

Actually time listed is immaterial on ebid as it is incredibly rare for anything to sell there, regardless of price.

what a great find! i love peter rabbit (and pretty much the rest of the collection too), just trying to get my kids into it now
