Figured as much, thank for confirming my suspicions . I have sent a email saying when payment is recieved i will post to a uk address but i bet i dont hear from her again.this is my 1st sale on ebay and to be honest it will probably be my last.
Yep same thing happened to me the scammer she even tried faking paypal email to say that payment has been received and kept sending the emals to my paypal email address i asked 1st ebay rep lol she said send it but i still was not sure asked 2nd rep and he said don't ever send it a scam and blocked the scammer account.0 -
woke up to another email but not via ebay -she says she is worried that the phone wont reach her missionary husband in nigeria !! i can guarantee it wont .ive had the fake paypal emails but to be honest they were easy to spot ie final price was wrong and the buyers email was different.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Don't correspond any further with them. Open your NPB dispute (day4) and close as soon as you can. Block the bidder.

it has put me off selling on ebay because i cant do anything untill the 4 days are up. im getting ever threatening emails from "ebay/paypal" , i have spoke to paypal who have said there is no payment and to forward dodgy emails to them.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Sometimes letting the scammer know you are aware they are scammers might help...possibly.
Maybe just send them a link to a page explaining the 419 scam and once they realise they aren't going to con you they will move on to one of their other victims.
