How long to wait for payment ?

in Ebay, auctions, car boot sales, post & parcels
just started selling in ebay -one item sold sraight away but im still waiting for payment how long do i wait before relisting ?

    How long have you been waiting? The buyer has 4 days before you can do anything.

    Not sure how long you've been waiting. But, I believe the buyer has to wait 4 days before they can do anything. Don't quote me on this though.

    Yep, you can open an NPB on day and close it 4 days later. So in effect your buyer has 8 days to pay before you can safely relist.

    have contacted buyer but had no response-its been 3 days willwait a bit longer berofe relisting .

    Open NPB and close it as Soolin has posted. Don't relist it until this has been completed otherwise you could end up with two buyers and a guaranteed neg from one of them.

    Just heard fron buyer she says she has paid but no evidence of a payment in paypal but its a mobile phone and wants it shipping to nigeria ,ive got lots of alarm bells ringing and im unsure of what to do next .should paypal show a payment ?

    Figured as much, thank for confirming my suspicions . I have sent a email saying when payment is recieved i will post to a uk address but i bet i dont hear from her again.this is my 1st sale on ebay and to be honest it will probably be my last.
