:oSorry Bob I have only just found your new diary:o but I have read it all

You have been having a rough time but hopefully things are improving and you wil enjoy your weekend:beer:. You said earlier that you felt your job was done with DD going off to Uni but as events have proved being a Mom never stops. I think DD is being very sensible deferring for a year so that her health can be on a more even keel she doesn't want to be playing catch up all the time.

I have subscribed so no excuse now

Yes i agree re the mum bit- I meant job done as in i got her off to one of the important stages in her life..Oh well, i should have kept my gob shut:o:rotfl:

But more important matters- DD was one happy wee bunny tonight:D She is off drips again- except anti biotics, then hopefully ( where's the fingers crossed smilie?) she will be ok and *not * have to go back on them. The ladies on the ward have all been looking out for her as have their relatives. It is nice in one respect that there are so many caring people about..as well as my extended family on here.:j:T:D

And thanks DT- you have enough on your plate at the moment. I do appreciate it.:A

Just me, the rats and a fox. Welcome to Pepe's night world , delivering chickens to a smelly shop in Harlesden . Nobody here, I have keys. The fox knows that i'll chuck him some bones from the waste bins , that's why he's always here .

Oh well , back out into the rain ......at least it keeps most of the wierdos off the street . One asked me where the nearest off licence was at 0430 yesterday ! It's like Dawn of the Dead some nights !

You do lead an interesting life Pepe. I was watching a show about urban foxes in London, made for interesting viewing. Lots of varied opinions about them.

Handy that it was an inner! Presumably you ideally also want to stretch it until 8am ish so it's not out of hours too?! Hope you got it fixed OK anyway - I have recollectiojns of getting a call from a driver some years back to tell me that he'd just had the FRONT O/S tyre blow :eek: but it was OK, he'd made it to the hard shoulder. "Where are you" I ask - "Junction 5 of the M25, just before the sliproad!" came the reply. He made it to the traffic news for that one as they had to close the N/S lane while it was done!

Still all good news on the DD front I hope BOB?

Definitely good news on the DD front EH- She is coming home tomorrow.

Last antibiotic tonight then if blood sugars are stable and she does as she is told- ie eat the food ( yep they torture with hospital food) Then she can come home..:j:j:j:j
