Well obviously you don't need and want a job because you've turned 4 down. Your username suggests you live in Hull. It has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country and the pay in Hull is poor compared to East Yorkshire so you have to take what comes.

When you signed your JSA agreement, you agreed to take any job offered after an initial 6 month period. You've broken that agreement so now your JSA has been stopped.

With a Conservative government, expect it to get worse. There's a whole load of people in Hull about to get a rude awakening. The Conservatives don't put up with people sat on their backsides living off the State.

Perhaps there is a connection there? The high unemployment rate might have something to do with why there are loads of people "sat on their backsides living off the State". Hull has been decimated over the last 30 years, now most of the factories have shut down and gone abroad. Nothing going.

I know this as I live in Hull, but work in London freelancing, I'm relatively lucky to be able to earn enough in my field to do that. Would love to get a job up north but not much chance of that in Hull at the moment. I see about 3 permanent jobs a year in Hull and the surrounding area in what I do, no freelance work. Am about to retrain to try and do something else so I can perhaps stay up north in the long-term. I feel sorry for the kids up there at the moment, the job centre is full of teenagers and people in their early 20s.

And I think the OP may mean they were told to apply for 4 jobs.. I'd be very surprised if they were offered 'em.. maybe they can correct me if otherwise. Or they are trolling.
