Whereabouts did you go? It sounds lovely :) And did you go with a famous Welsh child-singer who has allegedly just split up from her partner?! :D

lol nope not with her ;) although my friend thinks she is her half the time! :rotfl:

I went to Rimini which is on the Adriatic Coast. It's not rustic Italy, it's beachside riviera (sp)! Flew ryanair for cheap and good deal on hotel so flight and hotel B&B for 4 nights for £120pp. It was so relaxing, warm and sunny. All the people we met were lovely. Hardly anyone spoke english so we got by with pigeon italian! There were some beautiful sights like old buildings and castles, but it was a modern seaside resort.

    Happy Bank Holiday Everyone,

I have been MIA for quite a while. Just don't seem to have a minute with work and family at the moment.

I am off for half term this week, so a little more time than usual.

My DD and DGS are still in residence but she is looking for somwhere to rent near by. It doesn't look like she will be getting back with her ex. To be honest we are getting on each others nerves:eek: hopefully she will find somewhere soon.

My DS has just got a new apprenticeship which he starts tomorrow so thats good news

Anyway a relaxing day today, maybe cut the grass and read a book. Think I will make a lasagne for tea tonight.

Have a good day everyone x

Afternoon All. Mizzly here, so typical BHol. weather I guess! We have taken the bottles etc for recycling, and bought some plants for the front tubs, a large new pot for my yukka (old one smashed yesterday when the conservatory door slammed against it), also planted the runner beans finally - so a little OS here. DH out with the dog just now. We have tuna pasta salad ready for lunch and will be using some of the left over roast pork for sweet and sour this evening.
Cranky, my house is abou to be turned upaside down too - new kitchen being installed at the end of the month so everything needs boxing up and putting elsewhere... help!! Still, it's very overdue and will look great when it's finished...I hope!
Hope you all have agood day. Take care.

Good Afternoon all, have been pottering around today I was going to go to a boot sale but the sky looked a bit grey so i decided that i wouldn't bother so probably saved myself money.got a line of washing out and hopefully it will be dry by late afternoon. Can't decide what I' ll have for dinner tonight I may just rummage through the freezer.I decluttered three drawers in the sitting room and am working my way though my craft bag and trying to do that as well.I guarantee the minute I throw something out I will want it.I made three birthday cards this morning so slightly productive.
Youngest DGS's card and present all wrapped for tomorrow, and his brothers already done for Thursday. As their birthdays are so close we are all going out for a meal on Wednesday night so that will be nice.
Thursday I am having lunch at my friends in Dartford then back to DD's to give DGS his present and card.
Can't believe that tomorrow is 1st june and we are halfway through the year already where does the time fly to. I swear it goes quicker the older you are.Well off to have some salad for lunch and do a bit more pottering hope everyone is having a good Bank Holiday
    Cheers chums

Me & my 2 DS's were lucky enough to be taken in by my mum when I split from my ex-h, and I moved out after almost 5 months, as I found a house to rent & we were starting to spoil our relationship by living together. Are you able to allow her a sitting room of her own with DGS? We were, and it is the biggest thing that kept us 3 going, being able to have somewhere of our own with our own stuff around us.

    Afternoon All

Just finished the last load of washing and taken a risk by putting it on the line - everyone doing their own thing today We are having a let's relax day all round - Telly pretty dire and the same old rubbish is on.
The only thing that I am planning to watch is the second part of Going postal at 6pm.
Evidently the weather forecast for tomorrow is awful so I am glad that I have got so much washing done this weekend.

Made so many swiss rolls yesterday  I was experimenting with fillings plus they are low on points so I can have a piece a day as a treat to keep me on the straight and narrow. The favourite of all of them so far was the chocolate one filled with black cherry jam and served as a dessert with a little squirty cream :D I also made a lemon one with lemon curd filling as well, one with strawberry jam, one with blackcurrant jam one with hazlenut spread and an orange one filled with a ww mousse. All have been sliced and frozen.
They all want me to make another black cherry one today :rotfl:we shall see ;)

Dinner tonight is Boiled Gammon, Mashed potato and salad with lots of pickles followed by a ww berry dessert that I am off to make in a mo.

Nothing much else so I am off to prepare the dessert - the meat is already on the bubble and the salad is made I just have to peel and boil the tatties and mash them :D

(((((((Hugs))))))))to all and enjoy the rest of your BH

    hiya everyone,

weather okay here today was warmer this morning but still nice now. In laws came up so have been to subway for lunch and into town to get DS1 some more school shorts. Boys have had a play in the garden but have brought them in due to next doors awful language when she screams and shouts at her kids. There are some words my boys dont need to know!

Waiting for tesco to deliver the shopping and have found a few links on here to maybe transfer OH credit card as we havent used it for nearly 2 months and its got a high interest rate.

on a more personal note DS2 did his first poop on the toilet today - its taken 7 days of going in his pants but I hope weve got it sussed now. Yey my Ethan!:j:j:j

    Take care xx

Hi Floss, yes we do have 2 sitting rooms. I love them both to bits but I think we are too alike. We both like to be in charge:cool: We are coming up to the 5 mnths mark and she has enough money saved to get something of her own. We have an appointment to view a property onThursday so fingers crossed
