Both of us are living on my wage of 16k in my fairly expensive flat, is there anything we can do?

Could you live in a cheaper flat?

I really don't understand why you come on the benefit & tax credit board as you don't seem to want to help people as much to be sarcastic & rude.

Better than feeling sorry for myself and letting the world know all about it!

At least I don't try and wear the hat of 'policing the boards'.

I have a right to feel sorry for myself thanks & the more I interact with you so called normal people the more I feel sorry for you.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I was single, pregnant, a student with a mortgage, and didn't get a penny until the baby was born. I'm pretty sure the case will be the same with a couple.

That's generally the case, yes. (although you can claim benefits for a few weeks prior to giving birth - you're classed as incapable of working for a few weeks before & after the birth)

Don't feel sorry for me hun, I have no need to wear a label to gain sympathy or voice my opinion.
