Mobile phone buying companies!!!
Getting fed up seeing all these companies advertising on tv i.e Mazuma mobile, envirofone etc etc.
Thought I would see how much they would pay for my Son's brand new Samsung Genio slide (not wanting to sell just intrigued). This cost me £124 in Tesco.
Bearing in mind all the things this phone has and how new it is, I was dismayed to see they would only offer £34.00. They advertise up to £150 for a phone, what type of phone would they pay this amount for???
What a con...

Argos are selling it for £60 on vodafone new - so £34 is not too bad - you can get more on ebay perhaps.
Got £145 once for a phone from mazuma - that were a decent phone - got in just in time before the price on offer dropped .
EDIT Samsung "slide" you say - might not be the one I looked at Argos which is touch screen. The slide might cost more than £60 but still the price you get offered from likes of mazuma is dependent on how popular a phone it is. The Genio is not that popular I think.0 -
Really popular phones would get £150 or close like the iphone0

I found Mazuma really good to deal with. They offered me £74 for a 3 year old Nokia N95 which was the same as the going rate on Ebay and paid direct into my bank account within 48 hours of my initial enquiry. The bonus was no Ebay listing fees or final value fees and no worries of being ripped off by a scammmer or not being paid.0
