Does anyone know what happens to cashback contracts if you die during a cashback contract?
Does the mobile company end the phone contract without having to pay a cancellation charge?
If you have paid 6 months but have not yet claimed your first cashback can your representatives still claim the cashback? I presume you lose all future cashback claims? Anyone with any experiance of this?

I would have thought as long as there is an appropriate bill it could be submitted. the cheque would of course be in the name of the desceased.
the phone contract would no doubt end but any owed cashback would belong to the persons estate.0 -
So what you are saying is that you would need the appropriate bill in order to claim, but if the person died say 1 month before the relevant bill you would not be able to claim. I wonder if a representative could take over the contract and therefore continue the contract and claim the remaining cashbacks?0

Most cashback claims requrie you to provide a bill at various times over the contract period, either by email or post.
All will require you remain on a certain tariff for a certain period of time. I am not sure they will let the cashback contract change to someone else.
If you took over the contract you would have to continue to pay the line rental. Is the cashback due significantly more than the line rental due? I am struggling to understand why you would wish to continue with it.
Any current due cashback will be owed to the desceased peroons estate. I am unsure if there is any way any due amount could be wriggled out of.0 -
I think in the scenario provided the cashback is like the contractee - deceased.0

The network will cancel the contract if you send them a copy of the death cert.0
