    :wave:Morning Peeps

Up with the Larks this morning, all the housework done, beds (that are not occupied :rotfl:) made.
I have done one load of washing and am hoping to get it on the line to dry but it is really grey and overcast at the moment, what the hell I am going to live dangerously and put it on the line:rotfl:

We are all off to Collectormania today - we didn't go yesterday because of the rain and this year it is at the stadium so hopefully it will stay dry.

mehefin........Sorry to hear of the loss of your mare (((((((((Hugs)))))))))
JackieG...........Glad to hear that you had a lovely day with OH and kids x
Sorry to hear of the sad news though ((((Hugs))))
meanmarie..........I hope you have a great holiday x

Oh well on that note DH is bellowing for everyone to get ready to go so I will post later
Take Care all and enjoy your day ((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))) to all in need of one

Morning all......................(((((((((((((((((((((((((.Hugs))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one, especially Jackie and your inlaws.......not a happy situation to be in for your SIL.

Its a grey day and quite cold in Eastern Scotland, hope it clears a bit, there is a village garden open day close to us today. We decided not to go but out the cash towards the Gardenong Scotland show next week. We tend to go to a big show like that only a couple times and rely on the gardens open scheme to feed our appetite for viewing other peoples gardens.......it gets quite expensive some schemes can be £5 each which out of my budget is a couple of days dinners, We ration pourselves to one visit a month to local open day.

We are on an strict economy drive, I have told OH if he wants anything for the garden he has to pay for it, I am buying no more plants, we have enough....we were given an extra piece of hose yesterday, so we now have enough to go right round to the front, so the 30m roll I bought last week can got back to Aldi on Wednesday and I will get my money back. I am allowing myself just £50 to feed us this coming month. I have quite a bit of meat in the freezer I can spin it out for the month, just need to do my menu plan. I have to get the plumber back the outside tap is leaking and we cannot toghten the jubilee clip nay more; its dripping down the wall, have enough problems without adding damp to the equation.

We have a very good butcher in the village, I am going to try him rather than Teaco, although I do like the chickens from Aldi they are very good and reasonable, I really cannot afford £8 from the butcher. Since we came back to Scotland we have enjoyed beef olives again, I need to see if I can get thin slices of beef and make my own. They have either stuffing or sausage in the middle. I cook them in a tomato sauce, yummy with a selction of fresh veg.

Time to go.....more coffee needed......enjoy your day.......................

I need to put some items on ebay to raise a few pounds towards our holiday to the Lakes next month, but I dont know about you but its not as good as it used to be. I wonder what it is that I am doing wrong.

I don't think it's you. I put a load of lovely summer dresses etc on ebay last free listing and I only sold 8 items out of the 21 listed. The most popular items were boys dungarees from Next - I had 2 pairs and they had loads of interest. Not sure I will bother with selling on ebay - it seems too much hassle and not enough profit in it at the mo.

mehefin - I am so sorry to hear your news. My friend has horses and she treats them like her children. Feel free to post on here - we are all here to give you lots of virtual hugs xx

H has made around £40 at the car boot so far and he's bought something for the kids. He's still there at the mo so no idea if that total will increase.
Sun has come out although it's breezy so will hang my second load of washing outside. Cleaned and put the vac round upstairs and scrubbed our carpets. Again. I swear I don't know where half of these ruddy stains come from
I am child free at the mo - my parents have taken the kids to see my grandparents so I shall finish my coffee (and 2 apple pies - not HM :o) and then get cracking on my baking. If I get that finished I can then start on my accounts for last 2 weeks and do my learning journals that I am massively behind on.......
