Orange international prices rant
i feel a bit conned,
orange have been charging me 20p per text for texting someone in germany, while that person is only being charged 11p to text me!? i knew about the change T&C meaning texts (and calls) were meant to be cheaper, i didnt know i had to pay to text an english number abroad?? must have sent at least 100 texts before checking, thats a £20 bill! there must be loads of people out there unaware of these charges

It does not matter where the UK Mobile is you should pay the same rate to text it as if it was in UK 12p on Orange Contract ,or it should come out of inclusive texts if you have any.0

really? i text "to germany" to 159 and got the following reply
"Hello from Orange. PAYM UK to German, calls are 45p/min, texts 20p/each at all times to a mobile or landline."0 -
If it's an English number abroad, the cost is the same as when in the UK. If it's a German number, a more expensive cost will apply.0
