    I have a feeling he has the mileage and price mixed up lol. cos if you look on his website that car is £19,995 and has a mileage of 12,000

    Do you need to use the 4 seats for adults? If so cross the BMW off your list. Roomiest by far is the Eos, but you'll be lucky to get one for 11 grand and the roof will probably leak.

    Another option is the Volvo C70.

    a4, eos and c70 are excellant suggestions, c70 being my fave as the a4 has too hard a ride IMO but avoid the clk, I had no end of bother with mine and the rust was horrendous and everyone else I know with slk/c32 amg/c320 cdi have had no end of crap reliability problems too, especially expensive electrics that seem to confound the main dealers.

    I dont know how the hell saab managed to do it but even thought they are very similar engines to the ones in diesel vauxhalls they manage to make them less reliable despite being far more expensive.

    They are the same piece of crap that Vauxhall, Fiat and Alfa use.

    They really are awful when it comes to working correctly!!
