Maybe having some reflecting time ? I'm kinda surprised at how although my goals are the same my methods of achieving them are different ... I'm also finding obstacles that I didn't expect ... So that is making me look at my behaviours and contributions to the obstacles ... And it's frustrating .... I am frustrated with myself .... I self sabotaging and don't know why .... I know how to stop it .... But somehow subconciously don't want to..... I would kick my butt if I could

But I am working through it and slowly unravelling myself as I go
    Breathes a sigh of relief
I'm not the only one :rotfl:

Procrastination and self-sabotage - probably the only things I always achieve.

Think the OU have managed to lose my course forms and now I need to use the money I had for the fees on getting my roof repaired.

So if I am going to do another year (and it's only for my own satisfaction) I will have to do some serious money organising.

Which means I need to decide how I want to spend the next couple of years and not keep changing my mind.

honestly if I could cure my procastination it would be great. I am the most easily distracted person ever!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

crafty although not great ... it could work to your advantage in the long run ... the roof gets repaired and the course done when you have more time

buffy ... what are we like .... i am getting better at the procastination ... should we make it an olympic event maybe?

That would be the ideal - unfortunately they are changing the course structure.
At present I have completed the first of three years - years 2 and 3 are due for final presentation in 2011 and 2012. Then they are transferring to a two year course instead and I am pretty sure I would have to start again. So if I want to complete it's sort of now or never.

    ETA Thank you, elantan.
I went and re-checked the course information.
Apparently they have extended the final presentations on both courses by a year - so I do have time in hand.
Which should mean I have time to sort my finances.

OK so I could have a year to sort myself out.

Yes - except that past experience tells me that I would be sitting here this time next year having done as little as I have done this year:o

    1. Make sure that I am up to date on my bills
Not there yet, but will be up-to-date next month hopefully and then will stay up-to-date by the end of the challenge.
    2. Be earning £1,200 a month (excluding DLA)
Not done very well on this one either. I will get there during next month though (won't make £1,200 this month but will try my best!).
    3. Have a completed budget that counts for all of my outgoings and make sure I am sticking to it
Started this, need to get it sorted.
    4. Get my weight up to 8st 7lbs
Making progress here, I went the the hospital today and now weigh 8st 4lbs :D
    5. Get all my Christmas presents for free.
Doing ok with this. I have £45 Amazon either pending or in the account and my Tesco points are nearly £35 so getting there sort of.
    6. Pay off my sofa (just under £400)
I am in the 100 day challenge to clear this and will be able to pay a big chunk off next month hopefully.
    7. [STRIKE]Get my passport by selling stuff on eBay.[/STRIKE]
    Done :D
    8. Avoid buying any more clothes (apart from a bikini that I need for my holiday – I don’t have one!)
Haven't bought any yet myself (OH bought me a dress for an upcoming wedding the other week) and I didn't even buy a bikini has found my old one.

    Hi everyone

Here is my little update. I have been on holiday for the past week and am now itching to get some stuff done.

Procrastination is also my worst enemy .

It's gone very quiet in here.

Well I have signed up for the OU course. Decided I don't want to wait another year (who knows what a year can bring)

However I will have pay for it via a finance package so I need to get my current debts cleared. I've signed up for the Old Style Grocery Challenge and I will stop frittering money.
