I-tunes certificate - possible scam?

I have just received a message in my spam in-box apparently from I-tunes. Clicking the attachment will apparently give me a $50 certificate. The recipient name under the attachment is male and has the same provider as I do in the address line.
I was about to reply 'unknown at this address' but thought I'd check first.
Have I just received a mis-directed e-mail or is something up??

SPAM - ignore and delete
EDIT - the email to you - not your post0 -
Delete it.
It is a scam - if you reply they know it is a live e-mail address.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Hi Travelgran I keep having the self same message go into my spam box and when i showed it to my hubby before properly opening it{He just reads the title} and tells me to delete it straight away.I have had it come through twice now.I also keep having ones come through telling me that a parcel is waiting for me and they need information from me so I delete them as well.Anything I am unsure about goes straight into the delete bin where they belong:D0

Thanks - you confirm my suspicions. Yes, I've had the parcel one also. A friend fell for it and ended up with a nasty virus!0

Hi,
The rule of thumb is that if it is supposed to be from a big company, like i-tunes, and it gets caught in your spam box %99.9999 of the time it is a scam/spam.
Big companies have lots of IT geeks working away to ensure their email doesn't get caught in spam boxes (i.e. correct reverse DNS, etc).
