    Morning everyone!

Forgot to post yesterday as I am still new to doing this!

Car had MOT yesterday and although it failed it was cheaper than I thought to get the work done, so sort of DFW.

    This weekend

Daughter on playday so instead of the usual going shopping and for lunch whilst 'I'm free' I've come back home to save on the pennies.

Also no petrol expenses this weekend as my mum has gone away and let me borrow her car and doesn't want me to replace the petrol. It also means hubbie can use mine as we usually share so he is a happier bunny than usual which is worth more than money!!!

Just going to tidy up this weekend as there is no incentive to go out when the weather is like this. Also going to send thank you card to the little daughters school for taking them on residential trip. It sounds like they had a bit of a time of it as one boy continually tried escaping. Even hiding in his suitcase at one point!

    Enjoy your weekend

  • Ages since I've posted - just been busy with work.

Not a bad day today - been to the metro centre and only bought lunch. Somehow I've managed to eat out 4 times this week and only pay for one meal. First was paid by a charming gentleman, second work paid for, third, friend paid for - for all the lifts I give her and final one I had to pay (just for me though).
    Pretty successful week.
Proud to have dealt with my debts:
    Lightbulb moment - Jan 08. Debts - circa 7k
    Debt free date 26/02/09

Hi folks , a wet wet wet day here too. Have been working all day and it has been busy up at t'mill as we say here. Ended up working late again and god knows when i'll get my time back -10.5 hours accrued this month.

Rachelmk, lottebear -There is a nasty bug going round up here ,i've just about got over it - chills , headache and simultaneous vomiting and 'runs' (like i've never had in my life !). Its awful , keep an eye on your temp, paracetamol if need be, clear fluids and toast if you must have something solid. Keep indoors and rest , hopefully it will be soon over.

My little list for today :
    • Work 10 hours at enhanced rate. (worked hard !):A
    • Charged work phone at work
    • checked banks , all ok
    • nipped to asda on way home for sunday chicken - got a whole mackrel 62p (in freezer till i work out how to cook it) and 2 x 6 pk fromaige frais for 20p (yum)
    • do some comps - am on a roll :)
    • look at surveys in inbox
    • meal from plan - still a bit queezy :(
    • catch up on hollyoaks on sky+ with dd
    • Get some ideas for pressies - 1x fathers day , 1x mums partner bday, 1 x SiL bday , all this month.
    • fingers crossed for lotto
    • and breath.........

Woohoo I have 2 days off now and I hear the weather is going to perk up:j:j:j:j:j
