Morning! Sounds like a lovely day you have planned Sal. I am hoping the weather here improves before my trip to the seaside tomorrow!
Today, I need to do two loads of washing, do an internet shop (which I will do in a moment), clean the bathroom and go swimming costume shopping. But other than that, I am going to enjoy the bank holiday and do very little! It's almost summer, it's the holidays, I'm in love, life is pretty great really and oooh, the sun has just come out."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Not sunny here - think it's that wonderful East Coast sea ha.
Going to have breakfast and then go and sort a mousetrap. I have my very large colllection of odd socks out on my bed - willl try and sort today and then give up.
Would like to paint two walls today if I can. Have the number of a reliable carpet fitter once I've painted the blue wall. Then I'll be able to sort the study

This made me smile though - imagine being the person who decided to add the wording to the sign :rotfl:

PaP - thankyou for the PM the other day, sorry I didn't get back to you - I think it was probably a good thing I didn't in the end, the way the Grabbit ended up going!! xx

That news story made me laugh too, thanks!
I've just realised that I've missed the deadline for my end of course project. I've emailed the support team to find out if I can resit the whole course. If not then I've completely failed it. Although looking back across the whole course in the light of what the GP said last week all the problems I've been having make a lot of sense. Anyone know if you can resit OU courses? All the info I can find is just about resitting exams.
Anyway, I might have my writing group today (after last week's mix up I'm not sure when it is this week), so I'm looking forward to being able to talk about my problems to people who have gone through the same stuff.
Weather's crap here.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

:rotfl: I thought that only hours after pm'ing you. I think I have it anyway in my diary, I was just being lazy/checking you wanted them. Nevermind0 -
Ames, sorry to hear that.
Fingers crossed that the OU come back and say you can resit the course.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Thanks Katsu. I really enjoyed all the reading and stuff, so I've got something out of it even if I can't resit. I'd like to be able to resit or have it just 'not count' towards my degree though.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
