Fuming with Valued Opinions - has this happened to anyone else?

I've always had problems logging on to Valued Opinions. Glad you got it sorted out now, so this is just for info for anyone else.
After completing a survey it gives you the opportunity to log in to check your account etc. It never ever recognises my email and password whether prefilled or entered manually. If I then type the VO address into the address bar (as it isn't the VO address in the bar, it's a longer one), click on member's page and log in it's fine. I really don't know why they have this problem with it, but that's the way I get round it.
I've had exactly the same problem as this for a while now. It's pretty annoying and I'm not sure why it happens.0 -
I also seem to have the same problem0

cat04 I always have the same problem. Have to go to the main page without going through the members area to log in. Think there must be a problem with their scripts.0

I have the same problem too, re: logging into valuedopinions. I just take it with a pinch of salt now. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Reminds me though I do need to get my fifty quid amazon voucher before i it decides I am not a member again!0

I emailed them out of frustration and they told me that I'd been trying to log in to the US version of the site. I think the link at the end of the survey takes you to valuedopinions.com, where your login will not work. If you type in valuedopinions.co.uk instead, that should work.
It's a bit daft for them to provide a link to the US site in emails to UK people, but at least I know where I was going wrong now.0 -
I had never noticed that it was .com rather than .uk but that explains a lot thanks. I thought it was just me until I read this thread.
I have found generally they are one of the best survey sites, although like Makeandsave I have had broken links within surveys when almost through them - They don't credit you even though it wasn't your fault. Thankfully it doesn't happen too often.0
