Through prayer and finding God's love, leave the path of abomination that is against nature
I wonder whether the exposing of his expenses was an attempt by the anti-homo mob to out him.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. The real point here is, the man as shown to have bad judgement, and yet is going to rescue the UK.0

I do not think it is uncommon for people to cohabit but claim to be single for tax and benefits purposes. They are rightly tarred as dishonest and treated as criminals when discovered, whatever their attempts to weasel out by claiming they are not 'technically' a couple.
To me this is no different, the 'privacy / gay rights' arguement is a smokescreen, if you hide your relationship status to receive additional taxpayer money you should be prosecuted.

I agree, though apparently if he had claimed second home allowance rather than rent, he would have been entitled to more money.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I absolutely hate that tit Peter Tatchell, but on this occasion, maybe he ought to go and 'Out' a few more gay politicians in the public interest, to see if there are any others on the fiddle.
Absolutely no way.
I do not agree with Mr Laws' fraudulent expense claims but totally respect his right to stay in the closet if he wishes.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Worthy of the job or not, is not really the point.
His position like any other politicians is fundamentally about trust. We are giving up some of our power to these individuals.
He has made life style choices and they are neither illegal or allowed to discriminate against him.
He should have come out about his sexuality.People do vote for individuals as well as parties and someone who thinks that hiding things that are part of there being have failed the test.
He is untrustworthy. Something politicians fail to realise is more important than any other quality.0 -
