Upgrade PAYG to contract and keep number?
Hi,
I have a Vodafone PAYG and want to upgrade to a contract. I would like to take out a contract through the likes of dialaphone etc., so I can get the cashback and I would like to stay on Vodafone as I get the best reception. Is there any way I can keep my number when I am staying with the same network but not dealing directly with Vodafone, or would I have to port my number to a different network and then port it back?
If I took out a contract now, could I transfer my number at a later date, or can it only be done when taking out the contract?
Thanks!

Voda are the only network that will only let you port in at the point you sign up for the contract.
So, you'll need to get your pac code for your current contract and then move it to another networks payg.
After a week or so ask for the pac code for this acc, when you've got that see about signing up to a new Voda contract and give them your new pac and it's done !
Good Luck0
