The only correspondence me an you have had (not that you'll read this of course) is over a difference of opinion about a particular aspect of contract law.
And because my opinion was different to yours you have put me on your ignore list?
Well If you add everyone to your ignore list who disagrees with you'll have more people on your ignore list than are not on it.
But then i guess you'll be happy as you can pretend to yourself that the entire world always agrees with everything you say.
What’s the point of posting in an open forum if people not agreeing with you offends you?
You may aswell just sit in an empty room and have a conversation with your self, that way no one will ever disagree with you and you'll always be right,....... bliss..........."A wise man once told me don't argue with fools because people from a distance can't tell who is who"........0 -
I brought a swimming pool from argos 5 days ago , now its half price
That is disgraceful. You have two options
1 Go to your doctor and ask to have your arms shortened so you do not get in pocket so fast.
2 Give full details in a pm and me and the boys round the Dog and Duck will go round and get you refund. We also will inform Trading Standards so the Police will turn up and kick the doors in. The Bank Holiday weekend in the cells will teach the staff a right good lesson.0 -
Just typed a long reply and lost it. Here's the short version.
Prices go up and down at Argos like a lady of the night's drawers. If you care about prices watch it for a few weeks and buy when it is low.0 -

It's good that Freddie is always on hand with the calm way to solve your problems..:rotfl:
Amazing how many posts there are, where an item has been purchased, and when the price drops they all bleat 'I've been done guv'
As said many, many, many times before no-one ever posts how they bought an item, the price has gone up and should they be straight round to the sellers with the extra cash as they have done the shop over?0 -
Have you opened it and used it? If not, just take it back as per their "no quibble" refund offer and buy it again at half price. If you have used it, buy it again at half price and take that one back for a refund using your original full-price receipt.:D

Hindsight is a clever man!
Come on, this is a money saving forum, although a customer has no 'automatic right' to a refund in this case, surely we can agree that it must be gauling when you buy something you want, and then the next day its half price!
Some companies have their own polices etc that agree to refund the difference if the item can be bought cheaper elsewhere, so it was not an unreasonable request for advice.
OP, Im glad you got a refund, you will enjoy it even more now its better value for money!!:money:0
