brought iten then 5 days later its half price? can i do anything?

I brought a swimming pool from argos 5 days ago , now its half price

can i do anything about it?

    Have you opened it and used it? If not, just take it back as per their "no quibble" refund offer and buy it again at half price. If you have used it, buy it again at half price and take that one back for a refund using your original full-price receipt.:D

    You can'y expect to be compensated because someone decides to put an offer on something you recently bought.
