Hello I-Want-A-Home, just wanted to say hi and welcome! You're diary sounds really positive and you seem to be very focused on what you want, which is great!
Can I ask what the £300 per month you keep for your allowance is spent on? Perhaps you could cut that down to £200 and use the extra £100 towards your debt repayment? Just a suggestion that may help chip away at the debts.
Also, I'm sure I've read on here somewhere (but can't find it just now!) that you're best to pay off debt with any savings you have, especially if the interest rates on the debt is higher than the rate of interest on your savings, which it most likely is with these evil creditors!
I will subscribe to your diary and keep checking back with interest to see how you're doing - but I'm sure with your motivation and drive you will be debt free in no time! :beer:0 -
