Spend £50 instead and you can get £10 off when you go through quidco.

Also you'll get £10 quidco cashback.

Get mince, you can make chillis from that for next to nothing (with value tomatoes etc).

Tinned beans etc are cheap too. I tend to freeze a lot of stuff though so I'm not so sure what's the best tinned stuff to buy.

Farmfoods are good for basics such as frozen veg and they do 2x Hovis loafs for £1 and 2x 4pint milk bottles fo £1.50, great value for families and you can freeze one of the loafs.
and the last time i went they had tuna chucks 3 at pound and then sugar 2 at a pound

I've started to cut back big style, the main bit was shopping with the debit card, I'd pop to the shop and get a few bits and then this turned into a few bits more. My budget is £300 per month, £75 per week, this is for 2 adults, 2 children, 1 rabbit, 1 hamster and a fish (ok so the fish doesn't eat a great deal!!!!) I am onto week 3 at the minute and (touch wood) its going well, I withdraw £70 one week and £80 the other, keep it in a seperate purse and then go shopping, costing it up in my head as I fill the trolley, but always go with a shopping list and I do sit down beforehand and menu plan so then I can see what I already have in my cupboards and then just buy at what extra I need.

A little pedantic I know but £75 per week is £325 per month.

VERY pedantic. I, for example, get paid 4 weekly, & would class that as a "month". So in my mind £75 a week WOULD be £300 a month.

That only applies to your first ever online order though, so while its great the first time, after a few online shops, you've given them the £20 back in delivery charges.

Yeah, I know, it's just he said he was going to do it for the first time, he may as well not lose out on first time perks.

I only did it once, actually twice as they messed my order up and gave me another £10 off.

When the supers have bogof's and special price deals make sure you can go halves with friends/family to help keep the bill down.Be strict with yourself and only buy what you will actually eat/use and if you are buying fresh stuff that only gets chucked maybe buy frozen which will save you money in the long run.Good luck.

If you get paid 4 weekly then you get paid 13 times a year. There are only 12 months in a year.

So regardless of what your mind says, £75 per week is not £300 per month.
