Hi Nicoll
That's really usefulI've moved this to shopping and groceries so we can help spread the word to other users
Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
thanks

Hi, i apologise in advance if this is in the wrong place, i wasnt sure where to put it.
Ok, i am seriously in need of help with my shopping bills as they are getting out of control and I am finding that i cannot afford to pay my bills.
my situation is as follows.
2 adults,
3 children aged 11, 6 and 1
2 dogs.
Hubby needs dinners for work. eldest will be having school dinner come sept so £1.50 per day, middle has packed lunch and youngest has whatever is on offer LOL
i currently spend around £100 - £120 per week.
I need to be spending about £50 per week, This has to include all toiletries (inc nappoes) dog food (wagg at £9 odd a bag) and food.
I have just written this weeks menu and i just cannot get it below £90. This is just for necessaties!! I am using the cheapest of most things like shower gel, shampoo etc and i still cannot get it down
please can someone tell me if i am being deluded about being able to do this on that budget.
Thankyou in advance0 -
Cut and paste what you have written in the old style part of the forum. There will be lots of help there for you! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
