    Hello,
I hope someone can give me some advice. We have discovered that our EHIC cards have expired so will request new ones. When I applied for the expired ones in 2015 there was no need to register an account.
However, since then, I applied for a EHIC card for someone else who did not have computer access. I obviously didn't think it through because in making that application the other persons name is now linked to my email address. In addition they have unfortunately since died although his widow is probably still on the file
For now I will order my new EHIC cards with a different email address but does anyone know what I could / should do about the other person's account with my email address?
I was acting in good faith to help someone who had never even heard of EHIC. I feel I should 'come clean' about the action but do not want to create another problem for either me (fraud?) or his widow. (His widow is unlikely to ever travel again as the original trip was planned as a one off visit to Lourdes, I don't believe either had traveled outside the UK before this).
    Thank you for your advice,
    Peter

If you check out this link you will see under health care that EHIC cards will no longer be valid after the year end. So you see you will only have this issue for another five months.
